Eurostreet Linguistic Services
Eurostreet Linguistic Services is a non-profit enterprise which operates in the social sector,
providing social utility services "in accordance with the provisions of Italian Law 118/2005 and Legislative Decree 155/2006, art. 2.1, points 1, 3, 9, 10 and 11" in the field of languages for communities, disadvantaged and marginalised people and immigrants.
Eurostreet Linguistic Services provides services to companies and offers service quality guarantees for the protection of on-line purchasers.
• Our company has been providing intercultural linguistic mediation since its establishment in 2007, while the company group has been in this same business since 1998 and its directors have been operating in the sector since 1992.
• We are culturally and professionally competent in all linguistic fields: medical/legal, social security, legal, expert, scientific and general translations - from and into any language - either sworn or not; interpreting; we offer intercultural linguistic mediation and language training for foreigners and/or Italians in difficult or socially disadvantaged situations.
• We are competent in managing and coordinating on-going, occasional and/or "on-call" jobs for small, medium and large public organisations, both within Italy and abroad, and for small, medium and large Companies (from local companies to company groups and national and international level such as FIAT, the Italian Highways Office-ANAS, BBT-Brenner Tunnel, SDI, Union & Switch);
• We manage our business activities all over Italy from our operational headquarters in Biella. Our offices are open every weekday from 08.30am to 07.00pm. During these hours, there are always staff members present who are capable of dealing competently with any request.
• We have a solid portfolio of orders and a technical and organisational capacity to match. We guarantee absolute confidentiality, professionalism, prompt delivery, reliability and financial soundness as a guarantee of our continued presence over time.
• For the last four years, the turnover of the group of companies, viewed as a temporary joint-venture (R.T.I.) in order to obtain binding contracts and/or agreements in the social sector, has been € 310,000 in 2004, € 505,000 in 2005, € 580,000 in 2006 and € 700,000 in 2007 (net of VAT). It currently breaks down as follows: 50% translations, 45% interpreting and linguistic mediation and 5% language training.
PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
• TRANSLATIONS
We specialise in a translation service from and into all languages, always using translators who are active native speakers of the language of the translated text. We guarantee quality, prompt delivery, confidentiality and professionalism at low prices.
We specialise in the translation of medical, expert, legal, fiscal, social security, and sector-specific documents in the various scientific fields as well as relational, intercultural and multiethnic documents. We also deal with correspondence of deeds and contracts, specifications, manuals, websites, marketing texts, company profiles and much more.
We offer an "on-call" service for the Public Sector and companies which have very limited translation requirements during the year but require the constant availability of a service provider who guarantees professionalism, commitment and fast delivery of translations. We guarantee continuous availability from 08.30am to 07.30pm every working day.

• PROFESSIONAL INTERPRETING
We offer this service at company premises and/or at conference centres.
We currently run an on-going service in Milan and Rome for the Public Sector and major companies.
We provide liaison, consecutive and simultaneous interpreting services using qualified professionals. We always request related documentation so that we can research the subject matter and identify the relevant terminology.
This service can be "on-call" or on-going with medium- or long-term contracts.
• TELEPHONE INTERPRETING
On request, we offer a telephone interpreting service with telephone conferencing for up to 6 parties at a time.
This service is available during office hours (08.30am - 07.00pm non-stop) and is directly managed by our company. It allows a significant reduction in interpreting costs as well as quick connection of the parties involved and the interpreter, wherever they may be.
• INTERCULTURAL LINGUISTIC MEDIATION
As a company group, we have been operating in the sector since 2001 and currently run an on-going service in the Milan metropolitan area at Municipalities, healthcare providers and hospitals, offering 55 minority languages and guaranteeing a fast and flexible service.
We are capable of adapting to significant variations in service requirements. Indeed, our service can be "on-going" (front-office or counter) or can adapt to the changing daily requirements of Social Services/ Foreign Offices/ Juvenile Courts/ Police Departments/ Prefectures/ various Hospitals/ Shelters/ Community Centres/ Help Centres/ Protected Communities.
We provide an "on-call" service and/or a telephone service with conferencing for 3 to 6 people. The telephone service is very useful in emergencies.
For smaller Municipalities and those whose requirements are limited and sporadic and involve various different languages, we offer an "on-call" service with no contractual or economic obligations.

For healthcare providers (our clients include the Milan General Hospital and Scientific Institute for Hospitalisation and Health Care [IRCCS], the Pini Institute, the Fatebenefratelli and Melloni Hospitals, the Tumour Centre in Milan and many more), we offer a telephone service for emergencies which operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Our linguistic mediation service is always complemented by the specialised intercultural translation service in the many minority languages of the different migratory flows, offering translation of legal and medical/legal documents and academic certificates for immigrants in difficult situations and/or with social integration problems. Our intercultural linguistic mediation service is also accompanied, at no extra cost, by a social and psychological support service for people in difficult situations, particularly immigrants with social integration or health problems.
• LANGUAGE TRAINING
We have always provided traditional, taught language courses as well as services for foreign immigrant populations including Italian courses to promote and improve social integration in Italy.
